Case Study: dg.o2003 Conference Package | ||
| Overview The annual National Conference on
Digital Government Research needed a complete communications package Communications for previous conferences had been solid efforts, but proven to be expensive and lacking a single graphic approach. We settled on a unified design scheme and carried it from the pre-conference publication of the papers to conference ephemera to post-conference publication of a multimedia final report and proceedings package. |

Multimedia final report We designed, produced
and published a 45-page booklet and a CD-ROM. The booklet outlined the conference goals and
achievements, while the CD contains more than 200 papers and Powerpoint presentations. We videotaped
more than 30 interviews with key speakers, program officials and session leaders, and produced
self-contained video clips. In all, more than 650MB of material is contained on the CD. At about
half the cost of the previous year's conference report, we produced a package of superior depth,
quality and navigability. Read the book | Use the disc |
