#202 :: Silver bead

Tibet, Indonesia, India, Pakistan - points east. Silver is hammered, pierced, drawn and twisted, orbited with wire and augmented with tiny balls of solder to the point where - alone - it hums with the import of an alien craft. Strung together with others, it loses all significance, retaining just the dull luster of metal of minor worth. Each of these is individual, handcrafted, worthy of admiration on its own. One of a series collected in a box.

*aargh* I'm not certain my belated post made it, for whatever reason. OK, so there are no heavy little rabbits yet, but you imply that you have *more* beads? When will these noble little objets be shown? Soon...?

Commenting is a frightening business on Moveable Type sites lately, as any host will tell you. I catch about a dozen spams a day - more now that BoingBoing picked up HLO. I'm guessing your first post got snagged in the barbed wire.

More beads? Maybe. Maybe something weirder tomorrow. I never know until it's time to post.
